Spiritual Wildlife Rescue & rehabilitation Sanctuary, Inc. was founded by Moon Taylor in 2001, she has been rehabilitating animals for over 40yrs since she was a child.

The sub permittees, volunteers, vets, attorneys, and consulting experts from all over the United States help our organization with every effort to rescue and rehabilitate native wildlife.

Dr. Lauren Thielen

Dr. Lauren Thielen, is a wonderful vet who personal over see all of our Wildlife at Spiritual Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Sanctuary, Inc.

And Tyler surgery for his front paws.She is the marketing committee co-chair for the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians.

Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at University of Miami Avian and Wildlife Laboratory, providing case consultations to veterinarians around the nation.

Dr. Thielen is also featured on the television shows "Dr. K’s Exotic Animal ER" and "Dr. T, Lone Star Vet" (her own show!) on NatGeo WILD, which is her platform for educating people all over the world about exotic animal care.

Randy Turner

Attorney

Randy Turner has always been a friend and advocate for animals. He has worked as a volunteer on wildlife conservation projects around the world, including orangutan rehabilitation in Borneo, Indonesia, elephant conservation in Kenya, and black rhino conservation in Zimbabwe.

He has represented and served on the boards of directors of several animal welfare organizations, and they have been listed on his business page.

A portion of his law practice is devoted to representing animal rescue groups, wildlife sanctuaries, animal rights activists, and others who help animals.

Randy represented the dog owners in the Texas Supreme Court case Strickland v. Medlen where he argued that pet owners should be allowed to recover the sentimental value of companion animals that are wrongfully killed rather than just their market value.

He is a founding member and past chairman of the Animal Law Section of the State Bar of Texas and a member of the Animal Law Section of the State Bar of New Mexico.

He is a recipient of the International Society for Animal Rights’ SEEDS Award and the State Bar of Texas Animal Law Section’s Donald D. Feare Animal Advocacy Award.

Randy frequently lectures and writes on animal law and has testified several times in the Texas legislature on bills pertaining to animals.

Hi, my name is Natalie Fisher, and I’m the owner of Serenity Animal Transport. My love for animals began in elementary school and has only grown stronger over the years. Let’s face it—animals are better than people.

During the COVID pandemic, I decided to channel my lifelong passion into fostering bottle-baby kittens. That experience opened the door to something bigger: transporting animals across the country. What started as a small effort to help quickly grew into a full-time commitment to ensuring animals reach their new homes, sanctuaries, and facilities safely and comfortably.

Today, I transport animals nationwide—serving zoos, wildlife parks, private owners, and rescue organizations, and assisting with owner surrenders when needed. My transports run coast to coast, and every mile is fueled by compassion, dedication, and a deep respect for the animals in my care.

While I operate the business myself, there’s an incredible network of people behind the scenes who make each transport possible. A special thank you to Devin Ewart, who stands by me through the highs and lows, and to Moon Taylor for sharing knowledge about the Black Bobcats and expanding my understanding of the incredible wildlife around us.

Transporting and caring for animals isn’t all cuddles—it’s long drives, cleaning, coordination, and ensuring everything goes smoothly from start to finish. But at the end of the day, I believe this wholeheartedly:
